L&L Contractors “Skelly Selfie” Contest Rules and Terms & Conditions

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. Sponsor

This contest (“Contest”) is sponsored and administered by L&L Contractors, located at 23 south public square Murfreesboro TN (“Sponsor”). The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Inc. (“Facebook”). By entering, you release Facebook from any liability related to the Contest.

2. Eligibility

1. Open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their state of residence) as of the start date of the Contest.

2. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) or members of the same household of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible.

3. Entrants must have a valid, public Facebook account to participate.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time on September 16, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time on October 31, 2025 (“Contest Period”). All entries must be received by the end of the Contest Period to be eligible.

4. How to Enter

During the Contest Period, entrants may enter in one (1) of the following ways (each a “Valid Entry”):

1. Option 1: Skelly Selfie – Take a selfie with the large “Skelly” skeleton located in front of the L&L Contractors building (wearing an L&L Contractors shirt). Post the selfie publicly on your Facebook account, tagging @L&LContractors and using the hashtag #SKELANDL in the post caption.

2. Option 2: Little Skelly Spotting – Take a photo of one of the small “Skelly” skeletons on top of an L&L Contractors service vehicle. Post the photo publicly on your Facebook account, tagging @L&LContractors and using the hashtag #SKELANDL in the post caption.

Limit: One (1) Valid Entry per person, per Option, during the Contest Period (maximum of two (2) entries total per person). Multiple entries or entries from the same Facebook account will be disqualified. Entries must be original (not previously published) and comply with Facebook’s Community Standards and Terms of Service. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of these Rules.

5. Prize

1. One (1) Grand Prize: $250 visa gift card.

2. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

3. Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize.

4. You MUST come to the office for a winners photo with Skelly within 10 days of winning.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

1. One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about November 5, 2025, by Sponsor (or its designee).

2. Potential winner will be notified via direct message to their Facebook account and/or email (if provided in the entry) within five (5) business days of selection. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, declines the prize, or fails to respond within seven (7) days, an alternate winner may be selected.

3. To claim the prize, the potential winner must travel to the L&L Contractor’s Murfreesboro location for a photo with skelly and the staff. 

4. Prize will be awarded within 30 days of verification.

7. General Conditions

1. By entering, you grant Sponsor a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display your entry (including your name, likeness, photo, and any statements) for promotional purposes without compensation or further notice.

2. Entries must not infringe third-party rights (e.g., copyrights, trademarks, privacy). Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate these Rules or any applicable laws.

3. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries; technical failures; unauthorized human intervention; or other errors.

4. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical issues, or other factors impair fairness, subject to any applicable law.

5. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the Facebook account used to enter. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses.

8. Privacy

Personal information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. By entering, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described therein. Entries posted publicly on Facebook may be visible to others.

9. Limitations of Liability

Sponsor, Facebook, and their respective affiliates are not responsible for any injury or damage to entrants’ or others’ computers or property related to participation. By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Facebook, and their affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of or related to the Contest or prize.

10. Governing Law

These Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Murfreesboro TN. 

11. Winner List

For the winner’s name, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: L&L Contractors, Attn: Skelly Selfie Contest Winner, [Insert Company Address], postmarked by November 30, 2025.
